Setting up a Proxy

     When you play the game, you're connecting to CHINA. That's on the opposite side of the goddamn planet. You're probably gonna have some bad fucking lagg. You can fix it by connecting to a proxy server, which makes a connection to china FOR you, and does it in a quicker neater way, removing most of the lagg. Here are a couple lagg removal services. Choose only ONE of the methods below. I use the first one cuz its free and doesnt cause errors, ever.

Battleping

     This is a free booster program, but you can subscribe to it, to get more uninterrupted game time. Go to battleping.com and download the application. Click the "trial" button and then click the "server" button.

Choose a server that is located close to the game you are playing. I chose Japan 2, 

Go back to the main window and click the "game connection" button. It should then say "connected" in green letters.

Finally, go launch Blade & Soul (you can use the regular launcher or your anti-censoring lancher, they will all work) and you should see "game detected" in green letters, indicating that your game connection is going through battleping and your lagg is reduced.

If you like battleping, go become a member and chuck some money at 'em. Cuz they're nice and helping you fix the lagg so well >w<

TGP Booster

     Please set your system locale to "mainland china - simplified", before you download and use this booster. else there will be errors with the client. In windows 7, this option is in control panel > region & language > administrative tab > change system locale > select "Chinese (Simplified, PRC)" from the dropdown menu. In windows 8, this option is in region > administrative tab > change system locale > select "Chinese (Simplified, China)" from the dropdown menu. Whenever you use this booster, you need to have your system be set to chinese.

TGP is another free booster program, but you can subscribe to it, to get more hours of booster time, per day. Go to tgp.qq.com/cp/a20121125bns/index.htm and download the application. Click this orange button, to download it:

(By the way, if later on during the setup you run into problems, or get stuck updating, try downloading the application at this other link instead. It will take longer to download, but will skip the updates.)

Now, click on the .exe application you just downloaded, to begin setting it up. Click the blue gear button, to choose the folder you want to install the application to.

Next, click the blue button, to download and install. This will take a long time, since it is downloading from china, please be patient.

After the initial download, click the green "install" button, and it will check for updates, and download them, if any exist. This will also take a very long time to complete. Just be patient.

When the updates are in progress, you will probably have a download error. When this happens, close out of the program, and simply update again. It'll get it right eventually.

When it finally finishes installing, log in with your QQ id and password, and then press the blue button. On the next screen, also just press the blue button.

You will be logged in and taken to the home screen. Click the Blade & Soul icon. The first time you use this booster, it will ask you to select your server from the Blade & Soul launcher. Then, the game will launch, with improved ping~ yay :D

If you need to change the server you play on, in the future, click the button circled yellow, in the picture below, and you can add more servers that you have Blade & Soul characters on.

The game should now be much less laggy to play on, now, but keep in mind that if you play on a highly populated server, you will always have incredible lagg that is irreprable, as it is caused by the Blade & Soul server overpopulation and overload, and cannot be solved by anything on your end ): Your only hope is to make a character on a less populated server, or maybe play when it is nighttime in China.
